New Book Release

Religion in the New Age, by Swami Kriyananda (collection of essays).

Short review:  The  book takes its title from the longest essay, "Religion in the New Age," originally published in about 1993, but revised in 2008. This fascinating essay makes the case that religion is far from dead, and will be more fluid and inspirational in the decades and centuries to come. Many of the fresh ideas and insights stream from the inspiration of Swami Kriyananda`s great teacher, Paramhansa Yogananda, and of Yogananda`s teacher, the brilliant Swami Sri Yukteswar. Over 100 years ago, Swami Yukteswar made that case that civilization is not in the lowest age, Kali Yuga, but had in fact already moved upward into the age of energy, Dwapara Yuga, which he said we entered in the year 1900.
